Loss of Use

Loss Of Use is available for horses to 12 years by endorsement to your Full Mortality Insurance. Loss of use is only available for horses being used for hunter jumper or dressage.
- Loss of Use is a condition which does not necessitate destruction for humane reasons, but the animal PERMANENTLY incapable of fulfilling the functions
(use) as stated in the policy.
- After destruction for economic reasons, this endorsement will pay 75% of the sum stated in the policy. In the event the insured wishes to keep the animal rather than have it destroyed, the endorsement will pay 50%.
- The annual premium is 3.75%; Current X-Rays Required, Surgical or Major Medical Must be included.
- Values: Minimum-$25,000 to Maximum-$500,000
